Every year, some 200 artists and companies of all styles volunteer their time to take part in this dance festival open to all and broadcast live on EMKA’s social networks.

Each year ODCV evolves, and for its fourth edition the festival innovated by occupying the Chaillot-Théatre National de la Danse (The Chaillot National Danse Theater) for an entire weekend, including the night. All over France, thanks to the support of the CCNs in Grenoble, Rennes, Orléans and Marseille, the action is expanding, and classes and performances will be held in support of dance and the association!  This represents a totally innovative evening of performance, celebration, poetry and contemplation. 

Since the first edition in 2020, more than 50,000 euros have been raised to help nursing staff during the Covid-19 crisis with the Fondation des Hôpitaux de Paris - Hôpitaux de France (The Foundation for the Public Hospitals in Paris and in France), students in precarious situations with the Fondation de France (The France Foundation), and Ukrainian populations with Urgence Ukraine (Ukraine Emergency). This year all proceeds will be donated to Cékedubonheur, an association founded in 2004 to improve the daily lives of hospitalized children and teens.
