In Terre 1, Thibaut Eiferman, in collaboration with visual artist Alice Vasseur, attempts to rethink an inverted world where the force of gravity carries different meanings. New relationships emerge from this inversion—between struggle and letting go, spirituality and materiality, speed and stillness, the living and the inanimate. The trajectory of a life is reversed.

Terre 1
On stage, a dancer follows a life’s journey in a loop. He repeats gestures like an athlete in training and tries to rediscover vital movements. The parameters of the piece are already set: we perceive birth, growth, death, and reincarnation. As the loop progresses, he ventures toward imbalance and begins to discover within his body the uncertain point where everything could tip over. The journey runs in reverse, like a Benjamin Button effect; he rewinds his life and returns to childhood.
