GENTLEWOMAN

Eight dancers, powerful figures of house, take over the stage to explore the bonds that unite them, between collective strength and individual expression. Driven by a club-inspired soundtrack, they move through solos and group sequences with intensity, celebrating the body’s authenticity and freedom without restraint

Creation
GENTLEWOMAN

Woman is the first piece entirely produced by Paradox-Sal Mouvement. It continues their collaborations with Ousmane Babson Sy while asserting a distinct voice of their own. The work deconstructs preconceived ideas about dynamics between women and claims the right to tell their stories with sincerity.

During their residency showing at the CCN studio, they worked on a one-hour version, Gentlewoman.

Blending improvisation and choreographic writing, the dancers root their movements in the present moment, gradually reaching a form of collective trance. A vibrant manifesto to make their voices heard—because no one can tell their story better than they can themselves.
