DOOM is the Benthé Company's second choreographic work, a piece for 5 performers choreographed by Théophile Bensusan. "If dance is a language, then Hip-Hop is my mother tongue".

On stage, the performers are torn between slow and fast time, abandoning themselves to the different pulsations that the world provokes in them. Their movements are akin to pausing a video, rewinding it or accelerating it to x30. DOOM is an ode to slowness and space, an invitation to lose oneself in the moment, to deconstruct all expectations, both those of the performer and those of the spectator.

Benthé, directed by choreographer Théophile Bensusan, is a company with multiple influences from hip hop dance. Tinged with realism, the company's movements are deeply rooted in current events, giving its dancers the freedom to express their different identities. The company's creations reflect a hypnotic, restrained power on the verge of explosion.
